Hank came to us at 17 weeks of age from Brenda and Tom Swartz of BT Griffs kennel in Ohio, USA.  Brenda and Tom shared the same desire to expand the authentic gene pool in our respective countries and also shared the same breeding ethos as ourselves. As both of us were planning litters we decided to do a puppy exchange. The logistics of importing and exporting are not to be undertaken by the faint hearted; it is an arduous endeavour but we got through it.

On November the 21^st 2017,  B & T’s Aligngriffs Dhitti (Hank) arrived and Aligngriffs Secret Darby (Darby) made her way to Ohio.

Having only had girls for 12 years, having a man about the house did fill us with a little trepidation but we wanted an in-house sire as we had found that the girls were just not that keen on travelling to be mated. From the moment they brought Hank out to us at Heathrow’s pet reception, we were besotted. He has the most wonderful expression and is such a social butterfly; charming all who meet him.

The rest is history. Darby became an AKC Grand Champion at just 14 months and Hank sired 22 puppies!

Already his progeny are proving to be not only loving and biddable hunters, but extremely well conformed.
